WIFE OF EKET COUNCIL BOSS COMMISSIONS BOREHOLE PROJECT DONATED BY IWADSA IN EKET.

It was a day of joy as International Women Association for Development and Skill Acquisition(IWADSA) in conjunction with Mujeres Entre Mundos donates a four point bore hole water to Ata-Idung Afaha Eket in Eket LGA.

The bore hole was commissioned by the wife of the ALGON chairman Mrs Bright Frank Archibong. Ata-Idung Afaha Eket people shows delight for the wife of the council boss in her busy schedule to be present in their community to commission the project.

The community’s joy was more given with the  impression that bore hole water as been sunk in the area, with the fact that Ata-Idung Afaha Eket as no electricity power supply for six months now.

The community people, during the commissioning call on the government to come to their aide to salvage them out of black-out which as not allow commercial business operators in the area.

Performing the commissioning ceremoney, Mrs Archibong thanked IWADSA  at their liberty to attract pressing projects to the community. She said that though the core mandate as an NGO to support for the nation, added that the IWADSA should support the government by bringing more projects to the community and Eket at large.

She said that the inauguration of the project is an indication of a working partnership between Eket LGA and IWADSA. Furthermore, she extolled Lady Gloria Ekereuwem quality representation and urged the benefiting community to safeguard the bore hole project judiciously.

According to Gloria Ekereuwem, the President IWADSA during the commissioning said, she was moved to pursue the bore hole project to Ata-Idung Afaha Eket community following complaints of water scarcity in the community.

She thanked Mrs Archibong for being part of occasion and described the council boss Hon. Frank Archibong as a pathfinder whose exceptional representation has brought joy and infrastructural development to his people.

Gloria hinted that another project which she also attracted to Eket local government community will soon be set for ground breaking and urged the Ata - Idung Afaha Eket community to make good use of the facilities.

Lady Helen Bassey the woman leader of Ata-Idung Afaha Eket, shows greet joy for the development in the area and urged the wife of the council boss Mrs Bright Archibong for bringing government back to their doorsteps. Adding that the government of the day should look into the electricity problem in the area.

She applause Hon. Frank Archibong for his transparent leadership and promise the wife of the council boss Mrs Archibong saying that the women and Ata-Idung Afaha Eket village is fully PDP, giving their support to Gov. Emmanuel reelection come 2019 and continuous support to party PDP.

Furthermore, the wife of the Paramount Ruler, Her Majesty Obongawan Mandu Abia commented the members of the community who troopped enmasse for the commissioning ceremony extolled the virtues of IWADSA and Lady Gloria for their contributions to the village for understand the needs of the people.

Emem Wilson - councillor ward V Central, Ekatte Afiah-Councillor development 1, Gloria Ekereuwem- President IWADSA, Paula Sebatian- Project coordinator, Mercy Thomas- Local coordinator, Richard Mbong, Helen Bassey the woman leader of Ata-Idung Afaha Eket village, elders, Village head of Ata-Idung Afaha Eket village and others who grace the occasion.
