GOV EMMANUEL SUES FOR MORE PRAYERS FROM A'IBOM CHRISTIANS Evelyn-A. B. Ibanga Governor Udom Emmanuel, has advised the Christian Community to continue praying for peace and stability in the Akwa Ibom State to be sustained. Speaking as a special guest at a prayer meeting organized by The Apostolic Mount Olive Church, at the Church Camp Ground (Beautiful Gate), along Ikot Abasi -Uyo Road, Ikot Ntot, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, he said prayers of Christians contributed immensely to the success of his administration. The Governor asserted that the efficacy of prayers in governance cannot be over-emphasized, urging Christian faithful not to relent in praying for the state and country. He stated that no individual can take credit for the peaceful disposition of any community, noting that it is God who divinely exercises authority over the affairs of men to fulfill his purposes.
