POLITICS: BASSEY WILLIE STAND TALL WITH GOV. EMMANUEL FOR SECOND TERM.

Ahead of the upcoming governorship elections, notable party leaders, including the Eket senatorial Federal of Representative aspirant Hon. Basset Willie, have thrown their weight behind the candidacy of the State Governor, Udom Emmanuel for his reelection.

The endorsement was made at the Eket Senatorial district mega rally held on Monday with other prominent party leaders who have also expressed support for the duo are Dr Udoma Bob Ekarika, factional Chairman of APC, Akwa Ibom State, Others who defected from Oruk Anam Local Government in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District with the heavyweight politican include, the Deputy Chairman of APC in the State, Emmanuel Udoh, Obong Ifiok Anny Asikpo, Emmanuel Francis Ikpe, Barr Emmanuel Udofia, Obong Mbaba, Barr Anietie Etuk, Benedict Benjamin, Amb George Ikpe, have all declared support to canvas vote for Gov. Emmanuel comes 2019.

I described Mr Udom Emmanuel as a great pair that would lead the party to victory in the coming elections in view of the wealth of experience and grassroots support he enjoy.

While Udom, a tested and trusted administrator, will effectively take charge at the centre, Hon. Bassey Akpan Willie, a well-known grassroots politician, will not stop at mobilising support for the PDP candidate(Mr Emmanuel) for his reelection.

And now, when everyone is sounding the alarm warning that APC is gone , is decimated , at least in Akwa Ibom State , Akpabio is taking other path .  where people are coming out from is where he is rushing into. I say it is his political decision but it is absolutely no threat.

If the former governor wants to go on and join a political party clearly not in existence, it is his own business , but again our doors are widely open for others leaving the APC to join the PDP as we all see during the Eket Senatorial District Rally, I salute Dr Udoma Bob Ekarika, factional Chairman of APC, Akwa Ibom State and Others for taking a good decision to join the ruling party PDP in the State.

With profound love for Governor Emmanuel(Mr Industrialization) REDEMPTION TEAM 2019 and the people of Eket Senatorial District used the opportunity given at the mega rally to drum total support for your reelection, we can not allow that opportunity to pass and we passed a strong message to PDP members and indeed all Akwa Ibom persons on the imperative to tie every loose end early and ensure all hands on deck to support the second term bid of Gov. Emmanuel for equity, fairness coupled with the achievements of the governor.

I Hon. Bassey Akpan Willie have seen that Akwa Ibom state is now an industrial state with the development brought to us by our good governor, as a Federal House of Representative aspirant i stand humble and tall to support Udom Emmanuel for second term to help bring more Industry in Akwa Ibom state.

Udom Emmanuel is leading us well, and I have come a long way together to represent my people well and follow by his footsteps if given a change in the green chamber. Other districts has gone for 8years and with PDP Udom Emmanuel will undergo his reelection comes 2019.

In the meantime, i urged Akwa Ibom people who are yet to register in the Ongoing Voters Registration Exercise to take advantage of the extension and register so they will be eligible to vote in the forthcoming elections. To my people I promise a better representation and with Udom Emmanuel Akwa Ibom people is secured comes 2019.
