#HOW UDOM SPENDS OUR MONEY SERIES  - 57.

#ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE...

As a major catalyst in the industrialization-drive of the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration, road infrastructure has remained on the front burner of government.

So far over 1700km of roads have been constructed across the state all with high economic value, complete with drainages and other necessary fixtures which make the roads stand the test of time with durability of over 25 years.

While so many other roads are still undergoing construction presently at varous levels of completion, some others are dualized to ease traffic from the envisaged huge volumes of goods and products that will be evacuated  from the companies operating in the State as well as agricultural produce from the hinterlands with the boom in agro-based ventures.

Today we bring to you the "before" and "after pictures of one of the numerous dualized roads in the State. It is the Dualization of Etinan - Ndon Eyo Road.

POPULAR AKWA IBOM RADIO PRESENTER, MARGARET ESHIET DEAD Popular radio presenter, Madam Margaret Eshiet is dead. She worked in Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC) and was a darling to teeming listeners of radio where she held sway as a goddess of the airwaves. She presented popular Ibibio program, "Sibaba Sibaba" on AKBC Radio. She retired from the employ of AKBC few years ago. According to family sources who spoke to Connoisseur.com.ng, the veteran MC was sick for some time before she finally died. She will be greatly missed. May her soul RIP. ©Connoisseur. com.ng
