GODSWILL AKPABIO: EATS BACK WHAT HE VOMITED..

We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing.

The values of a man forms his pedigree and ruin of a man is his addiction to what is evil. When this addiction becomes his calamity, it brings destruction upon him.

Senator Godswill Akpabio's malevolent maligning of the PDP is a shame against the dignity of the Annang people. There is always a say that  " an Annang person's is always a man of dignity ", but in Sen. Godswill Akpabio case, he had throw it deep to the view of his supports that he as lost his dignity in the face of his people.

I see Godswill Akpabio embarking on a fruitless effort by making plans to join the APC.

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower. Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions, today we all have seen that the Akpabio we use to know as eaten back what he vomits.

I heard the APC members running their mouth as a broken tap, because of a one man greed and selfish decision to decamp from the PDP. It can never destroy the superior brand " UDOM", But let me tell the APC's that I was once told by the wise one saying "never regret when dashing out your used toy to a friend in need of your used toy," and I asked the wise one why I should not regret giving my used toy out?. He looked at me silently and reply saying " because it has loose its value of using it by you again ".

The PDP collected 14 senators, 1 senate President, 3 Governors, 32 house of reps members, 62 house of assembly members and 62 LGA chairmen from the APC yet the PDP didn't make the kind of noise they are making for just God'swill Akpabio.

The action of the former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio cannot and will not destroy the image of Gov. Udom Emmanuel, because the signature of Udom superior performance are everywhere and these have made the entire people in the state to sing his praises.

Gov. Emmanuel is transparent, accountable, truthful and above all God fearing. He does not play politics with projects but executes them to bring development to all sections of the state without any iota of corruption and marginalization of any part, which has made him a sure bet for 2019 polls and to people who think the defection of sen. Akpabio will put a paused to Udom eight years to complete the Ibibio's term as the Governor of Akwa Ibom state are day dreamers and lack the rethink of zoning which was introduce by the so call GREAT TEACHER (Akpabio).

"Those whose palm-kernels are cracked by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble" (Igbo proverbs). This is aptly apply to our brother who have chosen to eat is vomits by being blent with fears for his untold secret not to be expose in the public.

President Muhammadu Buhari and his attack dogs(EFCC) who claimed they are fighting corruption is now receiving Akpabio to APC with jubilation.

The rumours in Akwa Ibom politics explain why Sen.Godswill Akpabio have decided to eat what is has been rejected in the past(APC). Akpabio desire to decamp to the APC is said to be due to his trepidation and fear of the EFCC in Buhari's regime.

It is pitiful that the defection of Akpabio from PDP to APC is a visible indication that he does not have courage of his convictions and does not have the guts to stand against tyranny.

But to ask, is this not the same Akpabio who have been saying outrageous words against the Buhari government (APC )? To those that knows Akpabio too well, he is not worthy of being called a man.

He have fail to understand the fact that fear is not a virture but a vice. In a society where moral have been mortgaged on the altar of sycophancy, Akpabio like a rabies infested dog, he has shown untoward aggression towards his followers and his successor Mr Udom Emmanuel.

Obviously, he is of the view that the only way he can warm himself to the hearts of the northern oligarchy occupants of Aso Villa and remain in the corridors of powers which he cannot afford to missed out.  His fear of losing the elections which according to rumors is because Gov. Emmanuel who is a Godfearing leader does not accept his reelection in the Senate to avoid probe by the Buhari government.

Akpabio is one Akwa Ibom son who has been extremely lucky and afforded opportunities by the gods, not because he is the best Akwa Ibom state can produce, yet he is too overconfident and believes he has achieved everything in life on merit. This is why he cannot control his language and his selfish decision of joining the APC.

Today, Akpabio who from inception to 2018 was a card carrying member of the PDP and was at national Assembly within this said period on the ticket of the party, pontificates about "PDP" government. But today Akpabio is trying starve some Akwa Ibom people who are his loyalist to sink with him in the APC.

Am using this opportunity to inform the PDP faithful members to stay focus and remain loyal to the party. The APC party is a leprous political party which is in the nest of corruption and hypocrites. If Buhari is fighting corruption, why does he want to abode Akpabio which he claimed to be arrested for is crimes?

So suddenly the APC as stop fighting corruption and be looking for members which as blind them from probing Akpabio as Buhari said to do before giving a second thought of advising Akpabio to join the APC so to let go of probe.. Oh.. APC.

Udom Emmanuel is the Solomon of Akwa Ibom politics, he is building a temple for the Lord and remember the blessings given to people in Bible who built temple for God. Solomon did and didn't fight war, so I tell us all that Udom is not trouble by Akpabio defection and there is no war in his reelection comes 2019.

I may not know the challenges Akpabio had with Udom, but whatever the case, Akpabio ought to have recalled that exception of Hon Essien Attah which he appointed a commissioner for only one year, he didn't accommodate his predecessor's immediate family like Udom Emmanuel who has appointed Prince,Emem, Ibanga to mention only 'three' in his government.

The governor has tried in uniting Ibibio, ANNANG, Oro, Ekid, Obolo and Ibeno thus the reason why the anger expressed towards Akpabio's defection is not only seen as an Ibibio, but rather to all Akwa Ibomite for the GREAT TEACHER to lost his obligations as a teacher who taught Udom Emmanuel. Let me put to all that Akpabio action cannot cause or raise ethnic enmity among the Ibibio's and the Annang's.

Who would have thought that the GREAT TEACHER of Gov. Udom Emmanuel of those heroic days will bow down to President Buhari he had abused up-and-down like he just did as displayed on social media, Channels TV etc.

Akpabio needs a rebirth, but I think  he should be allow to spring away into the unfruitful government of the APC. Cause to me i see Udom Emmanuel and the PDP even more stronger without Akpabio.
